Keeping Gardens Green

Our specialty is maintaining existing gardens. We weed (yes, we dig for the roots!), prune shrubs and small trees, do fall cleanups, spread mulch and more mulch.

Did We Say Mulch?

It's of the utmost importance to add a new layer of good healthy compost on an annual basis. This prevents weed seed germination, feeds the soil, retains moisture in the soil, prevents erosion and looks darned good. There is nothing more beautiful than a recently mulched garden bed.

Before

We can transform your yard from a weedy mess to an attractive garden. This one presented a particular challenge because the soil was loaded with large river rock. We had great difficulty getting our tools into the soil...

...but we persevered and this was the result. We dug out all the weeds, covered the soil with cardboard and overlaid it with arborist chips. Far better than the before picture, don’t you think?
